John Delante is a visual artist based in Tkaronto/Toronto, Canada. He uses photography as a vehicle to investigate themes of home, belonging, and identity. He aims to conjure a visual syncretic language, primarily informed by his lived experience, to produce a new aesthetic possibility. His work provides a novel viewpoint on the comfort of feeling seen and connected. John graduated at Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography Studies (Honours).
