Born and raised in Cebu, Philippines, John Delante (b. 1998) is a visual artist based in Toronto, Canada whose work explores home, belonging, and identity through photography and image-making. He engages memory, temporal shifts and the tension between intimacy and distance, considering how spaces and relationships shape one’s sense of self and reimagine a future. He earned a BFA in Photography Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2022 and has exhibited at Gallery 44, Latcham Art Centre, and Artspace TMU.
