John Monic Delante (b. 1998) is a visual artist based between Toronto and Cebu. His photography explores notions of home, belonging, memory, and identity. Informed by his experience moving to Canada from the Philippines at 17, he creates diaristic images to understand how meaning is preserved, transformed, and reconstructed over time. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2022 and has been exhibited at Gallery 44, Latcham Art Centre, the plumb, Artspace TMU, etc.
