About

John Delante is a visual artist based in Toronto, Canada. Working through photography and image-making, his practice explores home, belonging, and the ongoing process of becoming, attending to the quiet, everyday details of domestic spaces, personal objects, and in-between places that carry the weight of lived experience. Rooted in his own movement between the Philippines and Canada, his work considers how images hold, lose, and reconstruct meaning across distance and time. Delante earned a BFA in Photography Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University (2022) and has exhibited at Gallery 44, Latcham Art Centre, and Artspace TMU, among other venues.
